ABOUT
BELIEF #1
I believe C-section recovery starts on day one—not after six weeks—and early care is key to healing well.
BELIEF #2
I believe every C-section mama deserves clear, helpful guidance to support their recovery —knowledge is power.
BELIEF #3
I believe no mama should have to "figure it out" alone while healing from major surgery and childbirth while caring for a newborn.
I'MÂ CRYSTAL
Â
As a Physical Therapist with 17 years of experience and a two-time C-section mama, I know firsthand how challenging C-section recovery can be.
After my first birth, I was shocked by the lack of guidance available. Thankfully, my physical therapy background helped me navigate healing, and by my second C-section, I knew how to prepare for a smoother recovery.
Now, I’m passionate about helping other moms feel strong, supported, and confident in their healing journey. I’ve pursued specialized training in perinatal care and developed a comprehensive program to help you prepare for surgery, recover with ease, and regain your strength.
Through my online course, I’ll provide expert guidance rooted in both science and personal experience—so you can heal with confidence and get back to feeling like yourself.

MY STORYÂ
When I was pregnant with my first baby, I had an uncomplicated pregnancy and felt confident that my body knew exactly what to do. As a physical therapist, I understood my body, my pelvic floor, and how to push. I didn’t spend much time thinking about C-sections—I skipped those chapters in the books, assuming it wasn’t something I needed to prepare for. I figured if it came to that, I’d deal with it when the time came.
At 40 years old, during the height of the COVID pandemic, resources were limited. The hospital wasn't running birth classes, and my doctor recommended an induction at 41 weeks because of my "advanced maternal age." I went into it feeling positive and hopeful, but after hours of labor and little progress, my baby’s heart rate started to drop, and the decision was made for an emergency C-section.
The procedure itself went smoothly, but the recovery hit me harder than I ever expected. I was sent home with minimal guidance—just told not to lift anything heavier than my baby and to avoid baths for six weeks. That was it.
The pain was shocking. I had worked with post-surgery patients for years, but I had never experienced pain like this myself. Walking, standing up, laughing, coughing, sneezing—it all felt overwhelming those first couple of weeks. Thankfully, I relied on my physical therapy training to support my recovery. But I couldn’t help thinking: What do other moms do who don’t have this knowledge? Why aren’t we being prepared or supported?
That experience lit a fire in me. I became passionate about helping C-section moms feel informed, prepared, and empowered—not blindsided like I was.
When I had my second C-section, everything was different. I knew how to prepare my home and plan for support, how to protect my incision, how to move safely, and how to manage my recovery from day one. It made such a difference, and now I’m on a mission to share these strategies with other moms through my course.
You deserve to feel strong, confident, and cared for through your C-section recovery—and I’m here to help you do just that.
